The Michigan Hawks, a nationally recognized female focused soccer club, are founded on a belief that an authentic sisterhood is one that uses its resources so that all women can achieve greatness together.

Today, the Michigan Hawks announced that they have entered into a new collaborative partnership with TKO Premier Soccer Club to further promote youth soccer for girls in Michigan. This partnership will combine the Hawks' access to the most elite competition and events in the country with TKO’s commitment to inclusiveness and accountability in pursuit of excellence. TKO has been around since 1983 and developed some of the best players and coaches from the west side of the state.

“We are continually seeking innovative ways to expand opportunities for girls across Michigan and are now in the process of creating a network of support that will provide real, positive change,” said Michele Krzisnik, Director of Coaching for the Michigan Hawks. “Through our Elite Sisterhood Program, we will be providing access to ECNL teams and events for girls who otherwise would not have such an opportunity.”

Partners within the Elite Sisterhood Program will be able to provide their players with access to the Hawks college combine, ECNL rosters, as well as ECNL training camps and college showcase teams. In addition, sister clubs will have the ability to field and coach teams in the Elite Clubs Regional League (ECRL).

“We look forward to this collaboration with the Hawks and will work together to create a top-notch experience for our players at every level,” said Rich Labadie, Director of Coaching for TKO Premier SC. “The fact that the Hawks leadership respects our autonomy as a club shows that this is truly a cooperative effort designed to provide players with the best environment in which to achieve their potential.”

In order to minimize scheduling conflicts, all sister clubs within the Elite Sisterhood Program will have access to a collaborative calendar that will run from August through March.

Since 1974, the Michigan Hawks have sought to create an individual player development pathway that is second to none. Every year, Hawks graduates join some of the most prestigious colleges and universities where they go on to become team captains, national champions and amazing young women.

By expanding access to the competitive platform of the ECNL, the Michigan Hawks are providing a blueprint for the future while continuing to honor the principles on which the club was founded.
